Safe for the whole family

Set it up once in the app: gear icon → Profiles & parental PIN.

  1. Add a profile for each person, and tick Kids for children.
  2. Set a 4-digit parental PIN and choose what it locks: 7+, 13+, 16+ or 18+.
  3. Kids profiles only show ALL / 7+ titles and need the PIN to switch back.
  4. If the app is left for 10 minutes, it asks "Who's watching?" again.

Your subscription runs for one month from activation. Longer periods (3, 6, 12 months) can be paid in one go. The app reminds you 3 days before it ends.

What happens next

  1. We save your registration and reply on WhatsApp, usually within the hour.
  2. You pay 2500 PKR and send the receipt.
  3. We create your Sysr00t TV account on this mobile number.
  4. You install the app and activate it from the same mobile number.

Use the mobile number you have WhatsApp on: activation is confirmed from that number.

Download & install

Choose your device.

Option A: with the Downloader app (easiest)

  1. On the box, open the Play Store and install Downloader (orange icon, by AFTVnews).
  2. Open Downloader and type this address: tv.sysr00t.net/tv, then press Go.
  3. When asked, allow Downloader to install unknown apps, then press Install.
  4. Open Sysr00t TV. It starts on its own every time the box turns on.

Option B: with the box's browser or a USB stick

  1. Open the browser on the box and go to tv.sysr00t.net/tv, or download the app on a computer and copy it to a USB stick.
  2. Open the downloaded app file (sysr00t-tv.apk) from Downloads or the USB stick with the box's file manager.
  3. Allow installing from this source when asked (Settings → Security → Unknown sources on older boxes).
  4. Press Install, then Open.

Android 5.0 or newer. If you see “App not installed”, uninstall any older version of the app first and try again.

  1. On your phone, tap Download Sysr00t TV.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
  3. Tap Install, then Open, and follow the activation steps below.

Samsung, LG and other smart TVs, iPhone, and players like IPTV Smarters, TiviMate or XCIPTV use an Xtream Codes login:

  1. Install IPTV Smarters (or your player) from your TV's app store.
  2. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
  3. Server URL: https://tv.sysr00t.net
  4. Username and password: sent to you on WhatsApp after activation.

Activation

Activate from your WhatsApp: no passwords to type on the TV.

  1. Open Sysr00t TV on the box. It shows a 6-digit code and a WhatsApp QR code.
  2. Scan the QR with your phone camera. WhatsApp opens with your code already typed.
  3. Press Send, from the mobile number you registered with.
  4. Once our team confirms your payment, the box switches to live TV by itself, usually within minutes.

No camera? Send the 6-digit code to our WhatsApp number manually.

Already a customer?

  • Box shows “Expired”: renew by paying and sending the receipt; it resumes automatically.
  • New box or reset: open the app; it shows a new code. Send it on WhatsApp.
  • Changed your phone number: tell us on WhatsApp from the old number, or call us.

Questions

What internet speed do I need?

About 2 Mbps per screen for live TV; movies on phones adapt to your connection (720p / 480p).

Can I watch on two TVs?

One subscription plays on one screen at a time. For a second TV, register a second subscription.

Which boxes are supported?

Any Android TV box or Android phone with Android 5.0 or newer. Smart TVs work through IPTV Smarters or similar players.

How do I pay every month?

Pay 2500 PKR by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer before your expiry date and send the receipt on WhatsApp.

What is catch-up TV?

On channels marked ↺ you can start the programme that is on now from the beginning, or replay programmes from earlier days. Hold a channel (phone) or open the TV Guide tab (TV box) and pick the programme.

How do I stop my children watching 18+ content?

In the app open the gear icon → Profiles & parental PIN. Add a Kids profile and set a 4-digit PIN. Kids profiles only show ALL / 7+ titles, and grown-up profiles and 16+/18+ titles need the PIN.

Can I download movies?

Yes, on Android phones: open a movie or episode and tap Download. Downloads play offline while your subscription is active.

Are there subtitles and other languages?

Where a title has them, tap the screen while it plays: CC for subtitles (English, Urdu and more), the gear for the audio language and speed.

How many profiles can I make?

Up to 5 per subscription, each with its own Continue Watching, favourites and recommendations. One screen plays at a time.

The app says “App not installed”.

Uninstall any older version of the app from Settings → Apps, then install again. Your box needs Android 5.0 or newer.

A channel is not playing.

Try another channel. If one channel stays down, message us on WhatsApp with the channel name; our team is alerted automatically too.
